China MIIT consults on RoHS declaration of conformity

In order to carry out the implementation of Administration of the Pollution Control of Electronic and Electrical Products (known as new China RoHS), the ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) of China issued the draft specifications for declaration of conformity, and is asking for public consultations Aug. 22.

The declaration of conformity should at least contain the names and value of the poisonous and harmful substances or elements, and its time limit for environmental concerning.

The draft specifications are applicable to all manufactures and importers of electronic and electrical products in China, and require them to ensure consistent in products and their corresponding declarations. The catalogue of the draft specifications involves ：
