Taiwan to include baby wet wipes into cosmetics management

Health and Welfare Ministry of Taiwan published Notification No. 1051601670 to include wet wipes for babies in cosmetics for management on 1 April 2016.
 
Pursuant to Article 3 of Health Administration Regulation for Cosmetics, wet wipes for babies are categorised into cosmetics management and it takes into force on 1 June 2017. Upon its effectiveness, wet wipes for babies are subject to rules for Hygiene Administration Regulation for Cosmetics.
 
Babies are those under one year of age (by reference of that defined by World Health Organisation).
