Oregon formally passes Toxic Free Kids Act

The Toxic Free Kids Act (Senate bill 478) was signed into law by Governor Kate Brown on 28 July 2015. The bill will become effective since 1 January 2016.
 
There is a list of designated high priority chemicals of concern to phase out those chemicals in certain children’s products. Manufacturers should report for presence of chemicals in certain children’s products. This bill is similar to the laws in the states of Vermont and Washington.
