Norway Limits Certain Hazardous Substances in Toys

The Norwegian Ministry of Environment has adapted its regulation on toy safety to reflect recent changes at European level regarding migration limits for barium, limit values for TCEP, TCPP, TDCP and the incorporation of a migration limit for BPA (bisphenol A).
Under the new regulation, barium migration limits took immediate effect, with specified limits on TCEP, TCPP, TDCP and BPA set to apply with effect from December 2015.
