AAFA releases 16th edition of restricted substances list (RSL)

AAFA (American Apparel & Footwear Association) releases 16th edition of restricted substances list (RSL) covering apparel, footwear, travel goods, home textiles and other fashion accessories. The list includes more than 250 chemicals, and other restricted substances in consumer products under regulation of all states, federal governments, International Chemical Management and Requirement on Product Safety.
 
AAFA RSL provides various tools for American Apparel & Footwear industries to promote compliance, which may therefore lead to a better decision on purchasing and create a safer and continuous supplier chain for the industry. The main changes of the 16th edition of restricted substances list (RSL) are as below:
