Apparel industry body issues latest version of restricted substances list

The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has published the latest edition of its restricted substances list (RSL), covering apparel, footwear, travel goods, home textiles and other fashion accessories. The changes since version 14, which are few, are set out at the end of the list.
















Changes from RSL 14 to 15: Appendices
Reporting: Appendix I lists regulations which have a reporting requirement that are not necessarily otherwise listed in the RSL

Appendix I	Added 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, dihexyl ester, branched and linear CAS: 68515-50-4 REACH SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)
Appendix I	Added Cadmium chloride CAS: 10108-64-2 REACH SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)
Appendix I	Sodium perborate; perboric acid, sodium salt CAS: NA REACH SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)
Appendix I	Sodium peroxometaborate CAS: 7632-04-4 REACH SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)
