The limit of NP&NPEO in CNS 15290 has taken into force
Last September,Taiwan BSMI has released a new version of CNS 15290 and added Nonylphenol and Nonylphenol ethoxylate (NP/NPEO) requirements in it. In addition, it also replaced the old testing method of formaldehyde with CNS 15580-1, which refers to ISO 14184-1:2011.
On July 1, 2014,the inspection of textile and apparel products began to follow the new version.That means from July 1, 2014, the NP/NPEO content in baby textile muts meet the new standards.
