Fashion bracelets to be recalled by Amoena（Nanjing）in China market

Amoena (Nanjing) Trading Co., Ltd. has submitted its recall plan to General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) recently and issued related issues on the website on 19 February 2016. It will recall about its 900 gift bracelets on the China market. (Please refer to more recall details on its website).
 
The nickel release for the recall scope reaches as high as 3.6ug/cm²/week, exceeding the requirement “≤0.5ug/cm²/week” as set forth in GB28480-2012 Adornment - Provision for Limit of Baneful Elements. Nickel is likely to migrate from the imitation jewllery to the human body as it is absorbed by the skin, and long-term contact may lead to contact dermatitis and other diseases.
 
Amoena (Nanjing) Trading Co., Ltd. has ceased its free giveaways of such bracelets and stored the remaining goods. Moreover, it will recall those gift bracelets from distributors and consumers immediately.
