Inspection implementation rules on food contact materials in 2016

On 10 Aug. 2016, Product Quality Supervision Office under General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) has released implementation rules on inspection of food contact materials.
 
It covers random inspection of the following materials:

• Plastic packaging materials and vessels which come into contact with dairy products;
• Paper packaging materials and vessels which come into contact with food;
• Rubber materials used for sealers and delivery hoses that contact with food;
• Disinfectants that come into contact with food;
• Glass vessels which come into contact with food;
• Metal materials used to manufacture baking equipment.

 
The rules specify product scope and also list inspection bases and items for the reference of readers.
