ECHA proposes to include 15 SVHC substances in REACH Authorisation List

Helsinki, 2 July 2015- ECHA proposes  European commission to include 15 SVHC substances in REACH Authorisation List. Once approved, the above 15 SVHCs will be included in Annex XIV to REACH Authorisation List. At that time, an application for authorization is required in case enterprises want to these substances.
 
The 15 substances (in the sixth recommendation) for REACH authorisation process are as below:

The 15 SVHCs will be included in REACH Authorisation List (Annex XIV) once ratified by EU commission, after which enterprises shall apply to ECHA for authorisation to use these substances.
 
C&K Testing reminds enterprises that substances in REACH Authorisation List will be gradually phased out by EU market and only few available in EU market after application for an authorised purpose. So it is of vital importance for relevant producers to take prompt measures for regulation compliance.
