September 29, 2017, Washington Department of Ecology has added 20 chemicals and removed 3 others from the list of substances reportable under the state’s Children’s Safe Products Reporting Rule, which meant to expand the Chemicals of High Concern for Children (CHCC) list. The list has been contained 66 substances, that manufacturers must report the use in children’s products, involving toys, personal products, and clothing. This new list will come into effect on January 31, 2019.
The additions include 13 flame retardants, four phthalates, bisphenol S and bisphenol F, which used as a replacement in plastics. The list includes:

What’s more, three substance were deleted from the list, for its incapacity to meet the statutory criteria.
