15 December 2017, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) updated the list of chemicals of Proposition 65, adding chlorpyrifos and n-Hexane known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity, effective from 15 December 2017.
Chlorpyrifos and n-hexane were considered by the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee (DARTIC) at a public meeting held on November 29, 2017, and DARTIC determined both of the two substances can cause reproductive toxicity.
Chlorpyrifos and n-Hexane, listed under Proposition 65 as known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity, are as follows:
