11 January 2018, Thailand's Department of Industrial Works published the fourth edition of its List of Hazardous Substances in the Government Gazette, which came into effect on 12 January. There are 22 substances added and now in total 518 substances on the controlled substances section of the list.
Companies manufacturing, importing, exporting, or possessing the new controlled or type 3 substances must apply for a permit and register where necessary before 11 February.
