On 14 June 2016, Standardisation Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC) has issued No.8 Notification on National Standard of Year 2016 that 175 national standards approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) and SAC will be published.

These include a lot food standards but not involving those for food contact materials.
