The European Commission validated 237 RASFF notifications this month, including 210 notifications on food, accounting for 88.61%; 16 notifications on feed, accounting for 6.75%; 11 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 4.64%.
The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements and excessive levels of heavy metals.
