The European Commission validated 235 RASFF notifications this month, including 210 notifications on food, accounting for 89.36%; 16 notifications on feed, accounting for 6.81%; 9 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 3.83%. 6 of the FCM products are from China, accounting for 77.78%.
The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements.
