The European Commission validated354 RASFF notifications this month, including 333 notifications on food, accounting for 94.06%; 13 notifications on feed, accounting for 3.67%; 8 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 2.25%, in which 7 products from China are contained, accounting for 87.50%.
The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements and excessive levels of heavy metals.
