There are 275 RASFF notifications this month, including 248 notifications on food, 17 notifications on feed, 10 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs).
The major hazards for the 10 notifications on FCMs are migration and excessive heavy metal. Among the notifications, there are 8 of Chinese FCMs products, accounting for 80%, namely bowls, clips, barbecue sets, knives, glasses and spoons. Accompanying measures are also taken to recall or withdraw products.
