There are 273 RASFF notifications this month, including 239 notifications on food, 17 notifications on feed, 17 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs).
The major hazards for the 17 notifications on FCMs are migration and excessive heavy metal. Among the notifications, there are 16 of Chinese FCMs products, accounting for 94.12%, such as drinking products, cutlery, knives, basket for steam-cooking, bowls, forks and spoons. Accompanying measures are also taken to recall or withdraw products.
