The European Commission validated 821 RASFF notifications this month, including 735 notifications on food, accounting for 89.53%; 56 notifications on feed, accounting for 6.82%; 30 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 3.65%. 17 of the products are from China, accounting for 56.67%.
The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements.
