[RASFF] Overview of RASFF FCM notifications in August 2019

The European Commission validated 281 RASFF notifications this month, including 232 notifications on food, accounting for 82.56%; 27 notifications on feed, accounting for 9.61%; 22 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 7.83%. 13 of the products are from China, accounting for 59.09%.

The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements.
