The European Commission validated 184 RASFF notifications this month, including 172 notifications on food, accounting for 93.48%; 3 notifications on feed, accounting for 1.63%; 9 notifications on food contact materials (FCMs), accounting for 4.89%. 7 of the FCM products are from China, accounting for 77.78%.
The prime hazards for FCMs are migration of elements.
