In Aug.24, 2012, European Commission released the weekly overview report of rapex（The Rapid Alert System for Non-Food Products ） notification of week 34. There are 48 notifications in this week which number has increased compared to week 33.

The product categories most frequently notified through the RAPEX system on week 34 were：
• Clothing, textiles and fashion items(22 notifications, 45.83%)
• Toys (6 notifications, 12.50%)
• lighters (5 notifications, 10.42%)
•Motor vehicles (4 notifications, 8.33%)
• chemical products (3 notifications, 6.25%)
• Electrical appliances and equipment(2 notifications, 4.17%).

The eight most frequently notified risk categories were:
• Injuries (13 notifications, 27.08%)
• Strangulation (8 notifiations, 57.92%)
• Chemical (7 notifi ations, 14.58%)
• burn and fires (5 notifications, 10.42%)
• strangulation and injuries (4 notifications, 8.33%)
• Electric shock (3 notifications, 6.25%)
• Choking (2 notifications, 4.17%).
