OEHHA to include four substances in Prop 65

On 19 February 2016, Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) begins to collect information of reproductive harm of four substances including PFOA to prepare hazard identification documents, which will be used to judge whether to include them into Proposition 65.

The four substances are as the following:

Nickel and Nickel Compounds---
Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and its salts---
Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and its salts---

The public can submit information to OEHHA before April 1.

Once the above substances are included in the list of Prop 65, manufacturers and suppliers shall bear corresponding liabilities and obligations under Prop 65. C&K Testing will keep you updated for the latest news.
