On 14 Sept. 2016, the Official Journal of European Union publishes an authorisation decision allowing a Dutch company for several industrial or professional uses.
In accordance with Article 60(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, the socioeconomic benefits outweigh the risk to human health arising from the use of the substance and there are no suitable alternative substances or technologies in terms of their technical and economic feasibility for the applicant’s downstream users.
The decision establishes reporting obligations on the authorisation holder and on its downstream users.
