On July 27, 2017,the Commission Decision (EU) 2017/1392 was released by Official Journal of the European Union, which amended the EU Ecolabel for textile products(Decision 2014/350/EU). Decision 2014/350/EU involves a large proportion of EU Ecolabel for textile products(Decision 2014/350/EU) ,but not limit to heavy metals.
According (EU) 2017/1392, the summary of amending including:
- the definitions in Article 1, paragraph 1, regarding textile fibers, yarn, fabric, knitted panels, non-fiber elements and cleaning products.
- SVHCs on Chemicals and process criteria.
- characteristics of hazardous and mixtures.
- color fastness
- biocidal products
- surfactants, softeners, and complexing agents
- auxiliaries
- extractable metals
