The European Environment Agency (EEA) has published a report entitled Towards a Green Economy in Europe, which clearly summarises the main objectives and deadlines for managing potentially hazardous chemicals in the EU from 2010 to 2050.

According to this report, EU Will phase out of several active substances contained in selected biocidal product types in 2013.
