[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in September 2015

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 35 batches of products in September 2015. There are 24 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 68.57%, increased by 4.93%.

The Chinese product categories notified through the CPSC in September were as below:

The above products are notified for various hazards, namely: fire, laceration, injuries, choking, burns, falls, electric shock, fire and strangulation. Accompanying remedies (refund, replacement and repair) are taken for such notifications. As shown from figures, sports & recreational facilities are most frequently notified.

As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
