[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in June 2018

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 15 batches of products in June 2018. There are 9 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 60%.

The pulley bolt can loosen and cause the snow blower to get stuck in drive mode, posing an injury hazard.

Amerisun has received 20 reports of loose pulley bolts, 15 in the U.S. and five in Canada, including eight reports of the snow blower getting stuck in drive mode. No injuries have been reported.

Uttermost has received 13 reports of the hanging hardware breaking and causing mirrors and wall décor to fall from walls, including one injury when a mirror fell and caused a laceration to a consumer’s leg.
