[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in July 2015

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 33 batches of products in July 2015. There are 21 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 63.64%, increased by 2.77%.

The Chinese product categories notified through the CPSC in July were as below:

The above products are notified for various hazards, namely: fire, laceration, injuries, fuel leakage, choking, burns, falls, electric shock and drowning. Accompanying remedies (refund, replace and repair) are taken for such notifications. As shown from figures, sports & recreation facilities and children’s products are still the products for top risk for most consumers.

As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
