Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 19 batches of products in January 2018. There are 14 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 73.68%.
Based on our statistics, the Chinese products notified through the CPSC in January were as below:

burn hazards HP has received eight reports of battery packs overheating,
melting, or charring, including three reports of property damage totaling
$4,500 with one report of a minor injury involving a first degree burn to the
hand. About 50,000 (in addition, 2,600 were sold in Canada) 18-077 Replace 4 2018-01-09 Convertible High Chairs China The front legs on the highchair can detach from the seat,
posing fall and injury hazards to children. Skip Hop has received 13 reports of the legs of the high
chairs detaching, resulting in two reports of bruises to children. About 7,900 in U.S. (In addition, 2,000 in Canada) 18-078 Replace 5 2018-01-12 Snow globes China Light refraction through the globes can singe or melt items
in contact with or in the immediate proximity, posing a fire hazard. Coldwater Creek has received one incident report that
damaged nearby property. No injuries have been reported. About 43 18-714 Refund 6 2018-01-16 Power adapter wall plugs sold with Fujifilm digital cameras China The power adapter wall plug can crack, break or detach and
remain in the wall and expose live electrical contacts, posing a shock

Canada.) 18-079 Replace 7 2018-01-18 Bar stools China The stool
seat can loosen or break off at the base, posing a fall hazard to the user. The firm has
received nine reports of the stool seat detaching from the base. No injuries
have been reported. About 500 18-715 Refund 8 2018-01-18 Hudson comforters by UGG China Mold can be present, posing a risk of respiratory or other
infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or

choking hazard to young children. Vtech has received five reports of the ears breaking off of
the rattle. No injuries have been reported. About 280000 18-083 Refund 11 2018-01-25 Murphy Bed Hardware Kits China The hardware kits used to secure the wooden wall enclosures
to the wall studs do not provide sufficient bracing support, posing serious
tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to
children. The firm has received five reports of the wooden wall
enclosure falling from the wall, including one report of injury. The injury
involved muscle strain and soreness to an adult. About 2300 18-717 Replace 12 2018-01-25 Lights & Lullabies travel mobiles China The clamp attaching the mobile to the crib rail can break
causing the mobile to fall, posing an injury hazard to an infant in the crib. Vtech has received six reports of the clamp cracking. No
injuries have been reported. About 37,000 in the U.S. (In addition, 4,800 were sold in
Canada.) 18-084 Refund Replace 13 2018-01-31 Recessed canister light kits China The recalled recessed canister light kits can short
circuit, posing a shock and electrocution hazard when consumers try to
troubleshoot flickering LEDVANCE has received three reports of consumers being
shocked by the recalled canister lights. No injuries have been reported. About 45,000 in the U.S. (In addition, about 11,000 were
sold in Canada) 18-089 Replace 14 2018-01-31 Sunny CS (cribside) nursery space heaters China A broken motor mount can allow the electric heating element
to come in contact with the interior plastic materials and ignite, posing
fire and burn hazards. Vornado has received five reports of the electric heaters
catching on fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported. About 5,000 in the U.S. (In addition, about 100 were sold
in Canada.) 18-088 Replace
Accompanying remedies (refund, replacement and repair) are taken for such notifications. As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
