[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in December 2016

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 26 batches of products in December 2016. There are 16 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 61.54% .

Based on our statistics, the products notified through the CPSC in December were as below:

The above diagram show that household products are the most frequently notified in this month.


Our analysis shows that fire (8 notifications) and injury (5 notifications) are types of risk that most frequently notified, accounting for half of total notifications.

Accompanying remedies (refund, replacement and repair) are taken for such notifications.
As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
