[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in December 2015

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 27 batches of products in December 2015. There are 14 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 51.85%, reduced by 11.11%.

Based on our statistics, the Chinese products notified through the CPSC in December were as below:'

The above products are notified for various hazards, namely: burns, falls, fire, injuries, and poisoning. Accompanying remedies (refund, replacement and repair) are taken for such notifications. The above diagrams show that house appliances and sports & recreational facilities are most frequently notified for recall of Chinese products.

As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
