[CPSC] Overview of CPSC notifications on recalls in August 2019

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 26 batches of products in August 2019. There are 12 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 46.15%.

2019-08-20	Name: Garvin Pop-Up Electrical Outlet Floor Box Kits Units : About 3000 Recall number : 19-183 Manufactured in : China	The electrical receptacles can overheat when in use, posing a fire hazard.	Southwire has received three reports of the floor boxes overheating. No injuries have been reported.	Refund
2019-08-20	Name: Activity Push Walkers Units : About 1500 Recall number : 19-184 Manufactured in : China	Walkers can be damaged over time exposing sharp points and small parts, posing choking and laceration hazards to small children. 2019-08-22	Name: Rubber Brooms Units : About 58000 Recall number : 19-771 Manufactured in : China	The broom handles can break in half, exposing a metal inner rim, posing a laceration hazard to the user. 2019-08-27	Name: Happy Plugs Bluetooth Wireless II Headphones Units : About 6900 Recall number : 19-188 Manufactured in : China	The micro-USB charging cable packaged with Happy Plugs wireless headphones can cause the headphones to overheat, posing a burn hazard to consumers.	The firm has received one report of the headphones overheating while plugged into their micro-USB charging cables. No injuries have been reported.	Replace

2019-08-27	Name: Ultimate Shag Rugs Units : About 24000 Recall number : 19-187 Manufactured in : China	The recalled large shag rugs fail to meet the federal flammability standard for carpets and rugs, posing a fire hazard. The small shag rugs fail to meet federal labeling requirements. Small rugs are not required to meet the federal flammability standard; however, they are required to be permanently labeled with the following statement: “FLAMMABLE (FAILS U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE STANDARD FF 2-70): SHOULD NOT BE USED NEAR SOURCES OF IGNITION.”	None reported	Label Refund
