Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls 21 batches of products in April 2017. There are 9 batches of Chinese products, accounting for 42.86%.

Water-absorbing Easter and Dino toys

If the small toy is ingested, it can expand inside a child's body and cause intestinal obstructions, resulting in severe discomfort, vomiting, dehydration and could be life threatening. Surgery is required to remove the toy from the body, if ingested. Medical professionals and parents should be aware that there is a possibility that the toys might not show up on an x-ray.

The recalled chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing a serious tip-over and entrapment hazard that can result in death or injuries to children. The chests do not comply with the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F2057-14).

Children’s zipper hooded sweatshirts and girls bomber jackets

Refund

The zipper pull can detach from the sweatshirt, posing choking and laceration hazards to children.

Accompanying remedies (refund, replacement and repair) are taken for such notifications.

As notified on the CPSC website, some customers have already got injured due to the potential hazards.
