On 21 March 2017, two Chinese standards for electrical self-balancing scooters (“Safety requirements and test methods on electrical self-balancing scooters”, “General technical requirements on electrical self-balancing scooters”) were open for opinions. The consultation period ends on 20 Apr. 2017.
