Chinese standards on electrical self-balancing scooters are on the way

Electrical self-balancing scooters enjoy growing popularity among customers, especially commuters. It is a fashion and also green way of lifestyle. However, frequent accidents give rise to a widely concern for such products.

On 21 March 2017, two Chinese standards for electrical self-balancing scooters (“Safety requirements and test methods on electrical self-balancing scooters”, “General technical requirements on electrical self-balancing scooters”) were open for opinions. The consultation period ends on 20 Apr. 2017.
