Chinese Standards for Toy Safety apply in January

On 31 December 2015, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) and Standardisation Administration of the People's Republic of China released notification declaring products manufactured or imported as per GB 6675-2003 National Safety Technical Code for Toys can be available in the market for sale until 30 June 2017

The Standards for Toy Safety apply in this month are as below:

The above national standards of the people’s republic of China apply since 1 January 2016. Besides, it allows a transitional period of 18 months for products manufactured or imported as per GB 6675-2003 National Safety Technical Code for Toys.
