China Releases Revised Draft of National Food Safety Standards

12 December 2017, National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center releases the exposure draft of the Standard for Use of Food Additives and releases the Rules for the Migration Test of Food Contact Materials and Products on 3 Jan. 2018, and is now seeking advice in relevant departments and enterprises.

The revision is mainly aimed at the appendix A-E of GB 2760, including the revision of INS number of the food additive, Chinese and English name of the product, inquiry method, announcement content integration, usage principle and scope and food classification, and also improve some of the technical content according to the risk assessment and process necessity.
