14 May, 2018, Standardization Administration of China issues a new national mandatory standard for plastic runways GB 36246-2018 Sports areas with synthetic surfaces for primary and middle schools, which will come into force on 1 November, 2018. This new standard will replace the original GB/T 19851.11-2005 “Sports Equipment and Venues for Elementary and Middle School - Part 11: Sports Areas with Synthetic Surfaces”.
Compared to the Standard for Plastic Runways of 2005, the new version GB 36246-2018 is added the following:

2. Requirements of Thickness
3. Physical Performance (6)
4. Ageing-Resistant Performance
5. Inorganic Filler Content Requirements
6. Requirements for Polymer Content of Antiskid Particles
7. Limit of hazardous substances in finished products of surface layer (18 items)
8. Limit of hazardous substances in non-solid raw material (12 items)
9. Limit of hazardous substances in solid raw material (7 items)
10. Raw material assessment MSDS (chemical safety technical specification)
11. Sampling Requirement
12. Inspection Rule
13. Decision Rule
