Decision (EU) 2015/1131 amending provisional measure Decision 2013/505/EU provides for an extended time period of 15 months for authorising ammonium salts in cellulose wadding insulation materials for buildings on 10 July 2015.

Effective on 15 October 2013, Decision 2013/505/EU that ammonium salts in cellulose wadding insulation materials in the France market, as European Commission determines, should be applied for authorisation prior to its use. There is a 21-month period since its date of effect to 14 July 2015.

French Republic decides to extend the authorisation in the provisional measure with a desire to avoid uncertainty in the previous legislation. As we can see, Decision 2013/505/EU ‘21 months’ is replaced by ‘36 months’ in Article 1(1) of Implementing. The amendment becomes effective since 13 July 2015.
