The Measures was passed early on 30 May 2008 and applied since 15 September 2009. There are great changes in inspection of toys intended for export after the amendment:
1. Producers of toys intended for export require no registration for toy export;
2. Toys intended for export need test reports issued by toy labs and other materials required by AQSIQ only for the first time of customs inspection;
3. The supervision scope for the said producers is changed as checking of corporate quality guarantee capability and inspection of key items for quality safety;
4. Key items for quality safety refers to the inspection items of high concern determined by AQSIQ based on risk assessment in view of technical regulations and standards at the region or country where the company is input, historical data of corporate quality and inspection as well as product recalls;
The Measures is central to toy exporters which simplifies the complex process for toy export in general. C&K Testing advises producers of toys intended for export should keep an eye on product recall to strengthen the quality control of the products and ensure the export procedure.
